I'll be honest, I'm bad at knowing when things happen in Seattle. I always find out about them either from friends, or after it's too late to do anything about it. It's absolutely stupid that I don't have technology solve this problem for me.

I added social calendar to my always on dashboard.

It scrapes a bunch of local event websites and pulls together anything I'm interested in, that isn't in the past, and still has tickets (or a waitlist) available. I can tag them as ones I'm interested in, to discuss with friends and partners, or say I have a conflict or not interested.

Also, as an artist, I need to know when there are open calls for art work, residencies, etc. so I added those to a separate section.

Each event is categorized into tech, art, theater, dance, or cinema, the main things I care about.
